That Girl | Viral Vanilla

I purchased this fragrance for my 19 year old daughter for Christmas. It arrived on Christmas Eve and I wanted to try it before I gifted it to her just to make sure it smelled as good as the reviews stated. I will admit I was sooo disappointed! It smelled so cheap and mediciney (new word) with a hint of vanilla. I couldn’t give it to her because I knew she wouldn’t approve. On Christmas Day, I let her smell it and told her the backstory of my purchase and the was not impressed with the smell at all. Fast forward to a week and a half later…I happened to spray the viral vanilla again just to see if it still smelled as bad as the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how delightful it smelled. It was no where near as cheap or mediciney smelling and this time I could smell the vanilla and caramel as well as the musk. I decided to wear it to work and as soon as I walked past the first coworker, she complimented me on how amazing I smelled. Needless to say, this fragrance is now one of my favorite scents. My daughter smells the difference as well but it now belongs to ME! I read suggestions of allowing the fragrance to macerate when the smell is very potent or doesn’t seem well mixed…and it seems giving this product time to macerate must’ve done the trick. It went from a bitter smell to a very pleasant sweet scent and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Already purchased another perfume, Miss Girl. Can’t wait to try it.
